Rightfully so.
The illiteracy and ignorance of what islam is and how it operates is what keeps it alive. A perfect example is the black MB in America.... the fools... they need to watchhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bEpzmSOlUI, actually all blacks and whites should watch this as a part of required reading in history in the schools. One of America’s problems is the movement of the black MB unaware of their history. I cannot see how any self respecting black man could support islam based on the movie.
Additional reading should be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_Qpy0mXg8Y
It is interesting that the name Tamerlane is brought up, the same tamerlane as inhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IstZSgniH8 which demonstrates the true personality of Islam.
More people need to be educated.
I would think that if their own people knew history, many would abandon their “faith”, and.... I use that loosely.
In Arabic, the word for "black African" and "slave" are the same. In English, the word "slave" is derived from "Slav", reflective of the massive slaving operations of the Turkish empire.
It is incorrect, I think, to say that Musselmen introduced slavery to sub-Saharan Africa, but they certainly accelerated it and massified it; and once the European empires rolled away, they reintroduced it.
Credit actor Omar Sharif (who is Egyptian) and his friends Peter Ustinov and William Holden for making the commercial-loser movie Ashanti in the late 1970's with their own money, to bring the reintroduction of the trans-Saharan slave trade to the attention of the Western public.
