News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch went on a bit of a Twitter tear Saturday morning, predicting a “nightmare for Israel if Obama wins” re-election and accusing the White House of “still lying about Benghazi.”
The media mogul — whose company owns Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post and others — said Vice President Joe Biden “threw [the] CIA under the bus“ and ”now [White House] throws State [Department]!” He also came down on Mitt Romney, saying the Republican presidential nominee needs to ignore personal attacks at the next debate and focus on his jobs plan:

Not only would Obama’s re-election be a nightmare for Israel, but it would be for the rest of the world as well.
I believe that Mr. Murdoch is correct. I also believe that at least two-thirds of American Jews will vote for Obama.
I am beginning to wonder if Israel is worth my support if American Jews will abandon her so lightly. Liberal American Jews count on conservative Americans to save Israel from the consequences of their actions. They would rather vote for Yassir Arafat than a Republican. It’s time they began to pull their weight.

Sometimes when trying to figure out the American Jews I have the dark thought that I can see how they stood quietly by while Hitler rose and allowed themselves to be herded off to the camps. There was a resistance - for instance as discussed in the book For Those I loved - but it sure didn’t seem big enough.
No matter what it’s beyond my ability to understand why any Jew would vote for a half black who says he’ll stand with the Muslims.

This is so frustrating to those of us who get it.
No Orthodox Jews will vote Obama except the sect that doesn’t believe in the state of Israel perhaps.
Many conservative Jews, including many who voted for Obama — gave him the benefit of the doubt last time — will vote Romney.
The Reform Jews who worship on the bimah of liberalism are goners. Throughout our history there have been goners, taking sides with our enemies.
The sad part for me and a lot of Jewish freepers is that these goners are our families and friends.
There is an insidious movement moving through reform temples. One that I know of is going to wealthy lib synagogues through lib rabbis and sharing some films to stir up the population to vote Obama -— without mentioning his name. Lib synagogues are very woman-heavy. There is nothing there for men any more so they retreat from attending or attend as decoration for the women who run the place. Thus the admin has found an insidious in to try and counteract their antisemitism: the War on Women. They are bringing films to excite the women about how the ERA has never been passed, etc. I know how stupid this sounds, and how unimportant that issue is today. Yet this is reaching Jewish women. They are like lambs to the slaughter. I am embarrassed for my gender.

that’s funny you would say that. I am Jewish and my parents would never consider buying any German made vehicle. When I was 16 I went on a teen tour of Europe. I chose one that didn’t include Germany. At the airport we got our schedules and itinerary, and it turned out we were crossing Into Getmany JUST to take off on our plane ride home. My Father, at the airport, told me I couldn’t go. AT THE AIRPORT. He was pissed. but I guess my crying was too much fo him, so he let me go. God, I miss that man.
However, the German thing was a lot more personal for Jews, and I commend your father.
