I have searched for a blog or journalist to pick this up and post, at least, a partial transcript. Hunts' own words are emotional, jarring, and utterly factual by virtue of his personal knowledge of standard operating procedure when an embassy is attacked. This wasn't a mob; it wasn't a crime. It was a premediated, surgical, jihadist strike against our embassy---by definition, an act of war.

I keep thinking of that tragic mother of one of the slain who has gone public saying Hillary, Biden, the President, Rice, and Panetta all had individual, personal conversations with her to reassure her they will get to the bottom of this. Panetta even clasped his two hands around her face, so heartfelt was he.

I am more disgusted and outraged than I have words to describe. Hunt said the same thing happened in Mogadishu, and we all remember how horrifying that scene was, but in this case there was NO protest, NO mob-— just a surgical jihad operation viewed instantaneously in real time by governmental operations centers all over the world, including CIA, Dept of State and WH situation room, for over 6 hours.

Hunt said any military order would have had to originate from the WH, and there was none.

And Obama woke up to learn of the death of Ambassador Stevens, we were told.

Bad enough, BUT if randita’s statement is factually accurate (post 26)...:

“Libya is 6 hours ahead of EST. The attack began about 9:30 PM Libyan time which would have only been 3:30 PM EST. Obama would have been golfing about that time - not in bed.”

WHO was in the WH situation room watching and listening while this attack was taking place? If Obama wasn’t present, how many times was he updated during those 6 hours?

Did Obama deliberately try to stage a hostage takin in Benghazi as an October Surprse PR stunt that blew up in his face?

The plan — if you were paying attention — was set in motion at the Democrats’ convention in Charlotte in early September when repeated mentions of Obama as a “foreign policy president” were made.

This was timed to lead up to September 11th…when deliberately lowered security at the Benghazi consulate (and OTHER consulates and embassies in the Mideast) was supposed to encourage Muslims to take Americans hostage like they did in 1979. Only, Obama’s plan was to negotiate their quick released by trading the “Blind Sheik” from the 1993 World Trade Center bombings for any Americans taken hostage on 9/11/2012.

The plan was to make Obama look like “a badass” and a to have him revel in this through October and into the November election. In fact, the hostages were probably planned for release not long before the Foreign Policy Debate (the last of the three presidential debates this year) in Boca Raton, Florida.

This was supposed to show Obama standing up to Muslims, negotiating “peace”, and proving to the world what an effective and strong leader he was.

Only…it blew up in his face and the administration has been in overdrive trying to cover this stuff up ever since.

The only way any of this makes any sense, including the deliberate lowering of security and the disregard of Ambassador Chris Steven’s multiple pleas for help on the ground in Libya in the weeks prior to his murder, is that Barack Obama WANTED a hostage situation to happen so he could “look presidential by resolving it in October”… but the Muslims in Libya went overboard and killed people instead of just taking them hostage.

This also explains why no effort was made to even look for the Ambassador and others missing from the consulate for many hours: Obama’s gang just assumed he was taken hostage as planned and were STUNNED to learn the ambassador was murdered.

You are giving way too much credit to the crowd in the WH. They are buffoons. There is no way they could have planned this out. The tragedy was a result of bumbling lead from behind Obama incompetence.

If there was really some grand October surprise plan we would have photos of the kenyan in the situation room supervising the crisis. Instead he was asleep in his jammies while a U. S. ambassador was killed. No way that was in the plan and is disgusting.

Daniel Pearl was a “do-gooder” too. He really wanted to be respectful and “fair” with the militants, and do an even-handed story about them.

This Administration, Obama's campaign dared to try to blame and say it's Romney/Ryan's fault this happened in Benghazi by politicizing it.

However ?

The whole name of the game with this regime, the Obama campaign was to politicize it from the get go.
All from the start to protect Obama's image in a election year.

It was they, Obama's campaign and his administration who were the ones who should take the blame for making such a political mess and game out of this.

As more and more details come out it looks more and more like they wanted this to happen with no one to help Chris Stevens.
This is more than just being inept, this is criminal, sounds like this was all premeditated because perhaps Chris Stevens knew something that could possibly take down this whole administration and they had to shut him up.
