As the dust of Thursdays vice presidential debate settles, one of the storylines of Friday morning is Joe Bidens bold statement that the administration was not told that officials in Libya requested more security before an attack that led to the death of several Americans, including our ambassador. The fact-checkers have found that to be patently false. And now, even the mainstream media is predicting it could be a problem.

Aren’t the security and intelligence agencies under Obama’s control. If these agencies failed in their missions, such failures are Obama’s responsibilities. If Obama would spend less time on vacations and on golf courses, he might have more time to manage such vital responsibilities as intelligence and national security.

Major gaffe, even for the likes of Biden. Yet more evidence of a dysfunctional administration.
To: ZULU
No - he clarified later that he was saying that Libya was larger than Syria. I was confused to, but he cleared it up.

Is it possible he actually didn’t know this stuff? VP’s are often ignored and not filled in on details. Maybe he didn’t watch the hearings? Just trying to guess what kind of excuses Baghdad Bob Jay Carny will make if the media asks him about this.

Simple Joe made a HUGE mistake by throwing the Intelligence community under the bus to save Barack Hussein Obamas (mmm mmm mmm) hide. They are NOT amused. Not amused?
Just wait.
When Obama loses in November it starts a lethal count down clock.
He has a limited time to finish his allah-given assignment to destroy The Great Satan.
Here's what I said about that back in '09:
Poison Photo-Drop .. decision to release photographs .. will imperil nation .. its defenders.
Before he is done I fully expect him to release the names, addresses and phone numbers of anyone anywhere in the world who has ever provided any information to agency workers.
The damage to US intel will last multiple generations.
I will refrain from making any comments or speculation about self-preservation instincts of wet work operatives.

“Big trouble”.. We only use that term for white presidents.

And the fall-out just keeps on coming. Was Joe DRUNK last night? He acted much like some know-it-all drunk at a social gathering that was quickly getting out of hand. Logic and facts had little to do with the arguments he was mounting, and he had this incessant need to interrupt and filibuster.
The fake laughter was just icing on the cake. There were two adults up on the stage last night, and Joe chose to turn his remaining wrath upon the moderator, being almost as combative with her as he was with Paul Ryan.

Last night I had a discussion with someone on the WSJ comment board that pointed out the real danger for Obama in Biden’s answer. I had missed it completely. This is the conversation that I had last night, or at least part of it.
James- I missed it the first time through. Biden let the cat out of the bag about why the Libyian situation was allowed to happen when he plaintively complains, “The country used to come together in a crisis.”. That statement finally gives a reason for why the situation was allowed to develop in Libya and why the Americans were allowed to be killed. Poor Joe seemed completely baffled about why they were not getting the desired outcome. And people are going to claim he got through the night gaffe free...not so.
Me - I had never considered the possibility that they actually thought that allowing the situation to “develop” would benefit them. It is just too despicable to even consider, but I’m afraid you’re right. That’s what Cutter meant when she said that none of this would be an issue if it wasn’t for Romney and Ryan, she meant that they would have gotten away with it and used it to their advantage.
I recall reading a description of the NSA meeting that Obama is supposed to have had on 9/11, where they discussed sending in a rapid response team, but said that the next day would be soon enough because it would take hours, 4, 6, even possibly 12 hours to have planes there. Someone on these WSJ boards, commented that it would only take military jets 20 minutes to get there from souther Italy, but Obama waited until the next day. Sharlene Lamb testified that she watched the whole thing on her computer in real time, and they waited until the next day. They let those people suffer a horrible death, they waited until the next day, all because the lives of those four Americans were not as valuable as their blame America first ideology and a political campaign.

I want to believe you but with the MSN in their pockets it is up to us, the citizen to demand this investigation to go forward.
My fear is that it will be sweeped under the rug - especially if Odumbo is re-elected
