Why does the GOP agree to these terms for a debate? Surely they must have some say on who the moderator will be.

It makes no sense to me. The closest I can come to an explanation that feels right to me is the GOP thinks it would be impolite/unsportsmanlike to complain about the choice of moderators. So they gamely (in their eyes) go along with whomever is chosen. Bunch of idiots.....it doesn't work to play by Marquess of Queensberry rules with these people, and the GOP should have learned that long ago.
