NEW YORK As a student at Harvard Law School, then-bachelor Barack Obamas practice of wearing a gold band on his wedding-ring finger puzzled his colleagues.
WND EXCLUSIVE
Now, newly published photographs of Obama from the 1980s show that the ring Obama wore on his wedding-ring finger as an unmarried student is the same ring Michelle Robinson put on his finger at the couples wedding ceremony in 1992.
Moreover, according to Arabic-language and Islamic experts, the ring Obama has been wearing for more than 30 years is adorned with the first part of the Islamic declaration of faith, the Shahada: There is no God except Allah.

Translation: Mene mene tekel upharsin.
I wrote something similar to that on this thread. But that’ doesn’t appear to be the case. The pic in 126 shows the pattern that was supposed to be the arabic text. There is a different pattern on the other side.
Turns out Obama is as much of a republican as our candidate. It's a strange world out there.
The corsi article was claiming the pattern was the writing. But the closeup in 126 shows, it's not writing, it's just a pattern. "Do you have a link?"
There's a link on post 126.
I don’t see anything in the picture. Why didn’t they show a picture blown up so we could see Arabic script?
I can argue. I don’t see any close-up photo of a ring with Arabic writing on it.
There is no Arabic script. According to the Corsi article, the pattern was supposed to BE the Arabic script, but clearly with the photo in 126, it's not script.
Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
I don’t get it then. How is a pattern, script?
It's not. But if you look at the pictures in the WND article by Corsi, they had the ring at an angle with shadows. Arabic has a lot of ups and downs, and they made it look like it was Arabic script. But the close up reveals it isn't script it's just an up and down pattern.
The orig story that I posted to start this thread has been debunked.
Sounded fishy to me anyway.
I don’t see anything but a ring, sorry.
I see a cross-loop design. Not “Allah”.
Tell me you’re joking.
I wrote it MAY be the symbol for allah...it becomes clear as the thread progresses that all it is, is LOOPS!
