The media is the one that created Obama..if the media had done their JOB in 2008 Obama would have lost..his associations alone would have cost him the election. It would have been Hillary Clinton Vs McCain, who would have won, who knows, but Obama would never have made it passed the primary. The media made a deal with him sometime in 2008 that if he scratches their back they will scratch his..but this time around, if it really really looks bad for Obama they will drop him, all of a sudden they will look unbiased..they will want to save their own asses because they value themselves and their jobs much more than its worth trying to save Obama
If I was President Romney I would fill the press room on day one with Bloggers and reporters like MKH, Katie Pavlich, Ed Henry, and I might include Jake Tapper. The rest of the Obama worshippers would be relegated to the back of the room and given no real chance to ask questions for a while. I think they will turn on Romney so fast as an excuse to claim they learned their lesson and are now doing the reporting that needs to be done. Starve the big networks and let the masses look for news by driving them to OUR sources of honest reporting.
And then on to election matters and the presidential debate. The media generally agreed that Mitt Romney won and thats not a small point, Goldberg argued, but thats the same media thats been Obamas most loyal base.
Thus, that tells us something: While the media are willing to cover for Obama, they will not let Barack Obama embarrass them
[or] make them look more pathetic or more stupid than usual.
My favorite Christmas movie of all time is “A wish for wings that work” with Opus the penguin, etc. In the end some birds grab him and lift him up and he is “flying”, and Opus is all excited “hey guys - I’m flying - I’m REALLY flying!!”
After the closing credits one of the characters appears and says “Don’t get cocky”.
Opus/Obama, hmm....
