ESPN reported that the judge said he was not eligible for parole.
According to the story, Sandusky will be eligible for parole only AFTER 30 years.
He’ll be 98 at least before he’s elgible for parole.......

Judge John Cleland sentenced him to 30 year minimum to 60 years maximum in prison. Under Pennsylvania law, Sandusky cannot be released on parole before the minimum term is up.
He’s about 75 years old isn’t he?
No it doesn't. 30 years is the minimum of time to be served. The creep will be 98 years old before he is even eligible for parole. You think he'll last that long?
It’s funny the way they phrased it, but I think they mean he is eligible for parole only in 30 years.
