All summer long might be my favorite song of the the past 20 years. I know some of the social convservative here might not like him, but if convservatives want to win, we need his fans.

I like that song too but as he totally lifted the guitar riff from "Sweet Home Alabama" I assume that Lynyrd Skynyrd is getting a lot of royalties from it as well!

Actually it is a stereotype that conservatives are fuddy-duds who sit around listening to Lawrence Welk and Doris Day. Conservatives in the 21st century are pretty much up to speed with current music trends. I think there are a lot more conservative rock stars also, but many of them keep it to themselves as they don't want to hurt their record and ticket sales.

He didn't "lift" nothing.....it was all arranged.

"All Summer Long" is the title of a song recorded by Kid Rock. It was released in 2008 as the third single from his seventh studio album Rock n Roll Jesus. The song samples two hit songs of the 1970s, Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London", and Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama"........
