They were NOT armed and were NOT part of the consulate security team. They came after the attack had already begun. Their jobs were to seek out heavy weapons among the militias and nothing to do with security.
They did try to help the ambassador escape by car and were gunned down.
I hop this ends any political career for Obama and Clinton and any Democrat.
Won’t happen till after the election, if ever.
But he was a fellow American who died a terrible death. I cannot get those facts out of my mind. RIP to our ambassador and our brave Seals.

I keep wondering when the parents and other survivors of those killed are going to speak out. There hasn’t been a peep from Stevens’ family. It looks like their son was sacrificed to Hillary’s and Obama’s ambitions. Are Stevens’ parents so “in the tank” for the Democrats that they can’t see this?
The only words I can remember seeing from them is an objection that CNN published Steves’ diary. Not a murmur about Hillary denying security, etc., etc.

Obama and State supported the enemies of the people GURADING the Embassy!!! And Stevens told them, and look what happened.
It’s becoming more and more obvious that the State(less) Department would go to unreasonable extremes to avoid muslim casualties, should something develop. And it did develop.
The rules of engagement under which our military operates in Afghanistan are not much different.
Who overruled, and who knew and agreed.
Where did you get the idea that the former SEALS were unnarmed? The State Dept policies on embassy personnel do not cover those guys. You don’t go on weapons hunts unarmed and you sure as heck don’t gallup over to a consulate that is under fire without procuring weapons- one way or another.
