Perhaps if, every time this happens, the Temple Mount is sealed off from Muslim access for a month, it would happen less often?

I still think that the Israelis should have bulldozed the mosque off of the Temple Mount the day they captured East Jerusalem in 1967. Yes, the Islamic world would have screamed, but it would have ENDED this farce.

After being there a year plus ago and after reading Montefiore’s recent history of Jerusalem, I have to respectfully disagree.

The temple has been knocked down and rebuilt a couple of times before.
