That's why I get the feeling it's freebasing. I had a very close friend, jeez some 20 years ago, who went away to California and came back to upstate NY with a habit of using cocaine in this way. He was a mess. He could hold it together for weeks at a time, sometimes a month or two but then he would disappear on a days long bender. But during those periods of abstaining, it still had it's hold on him and those close to him always knew it was a matter of time before another train wreck. He was very sneaky with his use also. Obama had the same look to me the other night that this person had after a binge.

Ofcourse, I could be completely crazy but it's a gut feeling.

Those of us who have known drug users know the symptoms and behaviors. Sneakiness is one of the give-aways - and it spills over into other areas of their lives, as well. Also, chronic and habitual lying - many times about things that don't even need to be lied about. There comes a point where they have no idea where their lies end and the truth begins, because it's all the same to them.

Whatever happened to your friend?
