We saw the real Mitt Romney introduced at the Republican Convention in August. I tuned in to see Clint Eastwood and was frankly shocked by the number of friends from Romney's past life who told us from personal experience what a compassionate, decent guy this was, not only with his own money but with his time as well.

I came away shaking my head, still not caring for the guy's politics, but realizing he, like George W. Bush, was a genuinely decent person. Evidently, not too many people were paying attention then. A few more are doing so now.
