Did I do the right thing not saying anything provocative?

Yes. It was more productive to obtain information. You would not have changed her world view. That is almost impossible to do.

Thank you. I have to admit it was fun talking with someone with access to Obamas inner circle.

This took place in a church were we were waiting to see Newt Gingrich. Dobson had just given his pontification on Gingrich’s immoral wife, and it was kind of funny, the reporterette thought that we took marching orders from Dobson and robotically follewed every pronouncement. She was not being ugly, but she really believed that.

Once again, she was really nice (my wife was sitting next to me, so I was behaving, :) )mid fortish-maybe 50, husband an airline pilot, 20+ years Reuters employee, survivor of breast cancer (a cause she intervied BHO on, and got his support), and very likeable.

I had to get one jab in. Newt gave his whole speech moving around, without any notes or teleprompter. I had to exclaim, “wow, how does he give such an impressive talk with no TP”!

This is the type of person in the media we are up against. I have no doubts whatsoever, that she must write what her bosses want her to write. Also, I have no realy idea whether she is liberal or conservative, but i felt she was overly impressed by BHO.
