The liberal freak out over Barack Obama's poor debate performance continued on Thursday morning. Left-wing comic Jon Stewart appeared on Good Morning America to lament the President's "very difficult night" and jokingly warn, "I'm concerned that he may not reelect us. He may walk away."
The comic even admitted Obama might not be as smart as he first imagined. Stewart mocked, "You know, I used to think the pauses, he was just trying to think of smaller words for the little brains to figure out what he was saying. This time, I really think the pauses were just, 'I like food.'...'My children are nice.'" [See video below. MP3 audio here.]
Thank you. I have to admit it was fun talking with someone with access to Obamas inner circle.
This took place in a church were we were waiting to see Newt Gingrich. Dobson had just given his pontification on Gingrich’s immoral wife, and it was kind of funny, the reporterette thought that we took marching orders from Dobson and robotically follewed every pronouncement. She was not being ugly, but she really believed that.
Once again, she was really nice (my wife was sitting next to me, so I was behaving, :) )mid fortish-maybe 50, husband an airline pilot, 20+ years Reuters employee, survivor of breast cancer (a cause she intervied BHO on, and got his support), and very likeable.
I had to get one jab in. Newt gave his whole speech moving around, without any notes or teleprompter. I had to exclaim, “wow, how does he give such an impressive talk with no TP”!
This is the type of person in the media we are up against. I have no doubts whatsoever, that she must write what her bosses want her to write. Also, I have no realy idea whether she is liberal or conservative, but i felt she was overly impressed by BHO.
At her level, she is likely a committed lib. I think that those with different world views are weeded out on the way up. If you want to stop a reporter's career, take the time to teach them in depth knowledge about something that liberals are way off base on in their assumptions, such as gun control.
In a way, it is a cruel thing to do, as it used to be a poison pill for any advancement.
My guess is that they will show Obama giving weak answers, but they'll show Romney with a goofy, smart-aleck look.
And then they'll add some Romney "lies."
After what they did to Sarah, I despise them.
I can imagine that any “wrongthink” could be a career impediment.
