You've nailed it. Even in this column, Dowd implies Obama is not responsible for Susan Rice et al’s mistakes. Now, I'm no fan of Susan Rice, but I don't think she cooked up the it-was-the-videotape story on her own! A fish rots from the head down. Obama/Jarrett are behind this.
Seems to me that Bush, Rumsfeld, Condi Rice, etc. come under more criticism is this article which is supposed to be about Libya and Obama!
