The GOP elites have to know that if Romney loses, there will likely be a revolt of conservatives to a third party. No doubt they are doing backroom deals with the Democrats to institutionalize the current two party monopoly in order to make it difficult to impossible for a new conservative party to rise.

If Conservatives cannot put together enough people to take over the GOP, they are never going to do the much harder work of organizing a viable third party.

This “3rd party” siren song is merely the rationalization “conservatives” use to justify sitting on their butts bitching at the GOP every election year instead of getting into the fight.

We don't need to go to a new party. As I've explained numerous times we have more than 50 different Republican parties. The problem is with the national coordinating body called the Republican National Committee.

We need only set up a replacement device called the NEW Republican National Committee and invite the state parties to send delegates for an organizational meeting.

We can cut off the GOP-e by name! And, if there's a state with a particularly troublesome Republican party, simply deny them representation until there's a replacement.
