Careful now, guys - dem BigAssas be the new minority and be demandin deys rights.

Seriously, though - I have pins in my heel from an old skiing + military injury and must spend $180 per pair of custom made shoe inserts so I don’t walk with a limp. You oughta see the tribe of grossly overweight middle aged couch potatoes (mostly female) in the waiting room every time I’m there. I commented on this to the technician - his answer: “Every day I want to scream at these fools: Loose some fu*kin’ weight, get off your big butt, get out and exercise, and you’ll be fine.”

The poor guy dedicated his career to help the handicapped. The last time I was there he was waiting on a 300#, 5’2” slob.

The lady needs to lose weight for health reasons but that is her problem. I can see that her viewers might comfort themselves by comparison of their overweight bodies with hers but neither she nor they should delude themselves into thinking that nobody notices. I see so many people terribly overweight and if children are with them they are generally overweight as well. The younger people can lose weight while their bodies will still more easily absorb the stretched skin that results from being fat. The older one gets before losing the weight, the more serious the problem becomes of dealing with all of the extra skin. Major surgery for those really obese, no longer young, people who have delayed the decision to trim down. Exercise and a healthy diet has to become a habit to replace the lack of both which results in poor health as well as surplus weight. Dietary self indulgence can be overcome with awareness of the problem and a desire to normalize ones weight.
