It's the Obama speech on race you probably haven't heard. In June 2007, then-Sen. Barack Obama told a mostly black audience of ministers that the country's leaders "don't care about" New Orleans residents, suggesting the city was neglected in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina because of institutional racism, according to a an unedited video uncovered by The Daily Caller.

In the address, delivered during the upswing of the Democratic presidential primary season, candidate Obama specifically criticizes in outspoken terms the decision not to waive a federal law known as the Stafford Act that requires communities hit by disasters to match 10 percent of federal aid.

“When 9/11 happened in New York City, they waived the Stafford Act. … And that was the right thing to do,” he tells the crowd at Hampton University in Virginia. “When Hurricane Andrew struck in Florida, people said, 'Look at this devastation. We don't expect you to come up with your own money. Here, here's the money to rebuild. We're not going wait for you to scratch it together, because you're part of the American family.' " Obama, echoing rapper Kanye West's infamous anti-Bush remarks a couple years earlier, then argues that New Orleans was treated differently, suggesting the reason was that the city is mostly black.

Here’s my question.

If New Orleans is still suffering, which it is according to the liberals, then what does that say about Obama? If helping New Orleans after Katrina was truly a high priority which Bush neglected, then why didn’t one Barack Obama, President of the United States, make this a high priority as President? What exactly has Obama done for New Orleans????

I did not learn one thing from watching this video that I didn't already know. 1) Obama is the classic chip on the shoulder African American who wallows in the past and doesn't take responsibility for his race's present behavior, 2) he blames whitey for all the ills of his race, 3) he is two faced - pretends to be a uniter when in fact he uses division as a means to further his own career, 4) he thinks the government should pay for EVERYTHING and completely ignores the damage done by stealing from the productive to give to the unproductive (aka SOCIALIST), 5) his entire reason for running for president has been to further black interests, 6) he tailors his speech intonation to the audience.

We had a family of four in our neighborhood from NOLA who lived in a rental house for 3 years. Government paid the $1700 a month rent, utilities, cost of mowing the lawn and private school for the two kids. They were really upset when they were told they had to begin picking up the costs themselves. So they thoroughly trashed the place and left in the middle of the night.

I don’t think the video itself will harm Obama much. We on the right already know who he is, and the video reveals pretty much what the left wants from him.

The value to our cause lies in what this story says about the media. Independents who voted for Obama already feel duped by the media, and this should pour salt in the wound.

It should literally seal the case that the lib media cannot be trusted to tell the truth.

If Ubama wins in Nov, I expect he will:
- Load SCOTUS with a socialist majority to make Constitution meaningless
- Amnesty for 30-40 illegals and new DNC voters
- Create a permanent DNC/Socialist majority. Forever.
