I didn’t claim that Reagan was liberal while he was governor; I stated that he endorsed a few liberal policies. That is in fact, true.

But you might want to take a lesson from Reagan’s presidency. He stated that he would rather compromise and get some of the things he wanted, than not compromise and get nothing.

Conservatives who refuse to compromise by not voting for Romney will get nothing under Obama. Except maybe, his gratitude for helping him win the election.

Apples and oranges - officeholders face different options and outcomes than voters.
