The New York Times's Sunday Styles section offered some hard-hitting journalism about the toned-up and good-looking First Couple, complete with fabulous photos. Joyce Purnick mock-criticized Michelle Obama for looking so "toned and elegant" in "(Psst: We Feel Bad About Our Arms.)" Text box: "It's time to face the truth: we don't all look like the first lady."
I had expected to keep mum about my problem with Michelle Obama until after the election, but my frustration has gotten the better of me. I can contain it no longer.
I refer not to her politics, but to her arms-- her bare, toned, elegant arms. Enough!

LOL....very good.
Most department stores sell sleeveless dresses today no matter what the season. It’s very difficult to find a dress with sleeves. Believe me, I’ve tried.
Last week, when he and the first lady were on The View, the president made it clear he didnt seem entirely unaware of his physical appeal, joking (or was he?) with the cast that I told folks Im just supposed to be eye candy here for you guys.
Guys??? LOL! Now I know that Obama is prone to using the slang term "you guys" a lot when he talks to people, but I think this time he intended for it to have a double meaning. You know, with his obvious support of homosexuality.
But, on the subject of the thread...it is truly a sad commentary that anyone votes based on someone's appearance. That said, I think Obama is skinny, his legs and arms are lanky, his ears are too big his lips are purple, and he has a phony smile. To me, he is not at all attractive. And Michelle...well as long as you only look at her oiled arms (which are too long anyway) and not the rest of her body. 'Nuff said.
What about Benghazi?

Uses less fabric yet costs have increased. Kind of like making all the packaged items in the grocery store smaller yet costlier. Skirts are also getting shorter too. Skirt length seems to be a sign of the direction of the economy. Would love to see the “old fashioned” tailored well made suit return.
I doubt seriously if Michelle shops where most of us do. In fact I would suspect that if we were to buy anything off the rack it would have to be altered. Her idea of what is appropriate for the wife of the President to wear and mine are generations and worlds apart. She does have class, albeit low.
On The View? C'mon.

It's sad that they talk the way they do. But they aren't voting based on people's appearances. They find these people attractive because they agree with them. If the Obamas were in the other party or they were themselves, they'd think differently about their looks.
I would like to see better quality fabric too. A lot of the the stuff you see today is cheap and flimsy looking. Have you noticed that you can’t find reasonably priced leather shoes anymore? They’re all made of man-made whatever, and if you go to Marshals to buy a leather handbag, you’re looking at $75 to $100.
Some of Mrs. Obama’s clothes look like she got them at Good Will. She really wore some ridiculous looking outfits at the beginning of her “reign.”
