Having cared for my mother and husband as they were dying, and having lost my father, I can tell you that it is important to be able to discuss end of life issues with your doctor, and if poor have it paid as part of the insurance. My mother and husband didn’t want to die in a hospital and the doctors made it easier for me to care for them at home. Sheesh!!
