Looking very, very bleak right now... 52% want Obamacare repealed, but they still want Obama anyway. Americans have lost their sanity.

“Looking very, very bleak right now... 52% want Obamacare repealed, but they still want Obama anyway. Americans have lost their sanity.”

In complete agreement.

Even the normally ultra-conservative Washington Times has a piece up today about this:
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/sep/30/obama-widens-lead-confidence-against-romney-voters/

It surprised me that they would put up such a “downside” piece, considering the normal tenor of their reporting and editorial pages.

Come November 6, I know how I’m going to vote, regardless.

Deo Vindice!

“52% want Obamacare repealed, but they still want Obama anyway”

That’s partially Romney’s fault, for running a “repeal and replace” campaign. Would Romney’s replacement be 99% like ObamaCare? 1% like OC? No one knows.

This is bleak. Rasmussen is the best and he has Obama at 50%. 50% means it makes zero difference how the undecideds break.

More than anything else, though, this says that Romney’s invisible campaign strategy is not working.

No way this economy, this foreign policy, this jobs data, and this distrust of America’s direction should have the guy responsible for that leading in a campaign for the presidency.

I’m in Ohio and I see/hear Obama ads regularly and seldom run across a Mitt ad. Someone explain that to me. The “keeping my powder” dry strategy was supposed to end with the Dem Convention. Are we now waiting for the first debate? After that will be await the 2nd?

This non-strategy should make ABOs who felt obligated to turn to Romney for the sake of their nation livid.

The Republicans completely neutralized that advantage by nominating the grandfather of Obamacare. No matter how much the Romney people try to emphasize differences between Obamacare and Romneycare, most observers see these as differences without distinctions. Maybe it is the Republicans (and most likely the GOP-e) who have lost their sanity?

did you not see the internals that were on drudge over the weekend, ir is not on rasmussen any more but it is still in the drudge archive.

43% of voters certain they will vote for Romney. 42% certain they will vote for Obama. Remaining 15% either uncommitted or open to changing mind,
Among voters who are uncommitted to either of the leading candidates, just 10% believe the country is heading in the right direction. Only 24% approve of the way the president is performing his job.
