The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows President Obama attracting support from 48% of voters nationwide, while Mitt Romney earns the vote from 46%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided. See daily tracking history.
Four years ago today, Rasmussen Reports tracking showed Obama leading John McCain by a 51% to 45% margin. The numbers barely budged for the rest of the campaign season as Obama enjoyed a comfortable lead and stayed between 50% and 52% every day for the last 40 days.
When leaners are included, its now Obama 49%, Romney 47%.

The media’s effort at demoralizing certainly hasn’t affected me one single bit. I’d already been demoralized ever since it became clear that Romney was going to be the nominee.
That’s the spirit. Let’s let everyone else work. Better yet, let’s help inflict 4 more years of Obama on the country so we can say “I told you so.” Sick.
And John McCain?
Is this one of the reasons?....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4R4KtYVF-74&feature=player_embedded
I don`t know if it`s the effectiveness of Romney`s campaign or not, because the word is indeed out about how miserably inept and evil this regime is, but it`s looking more like America is resigning itself to be a weak, fading shadow of its former self. What it`s going to become is an uglier, crime-ridden version of Greece.
Romney is the nominee, let's move on. You can ignore reality, but you cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.
I just gave another donation to R2.
Alan Keyes is one of the very few UNblind people left in this nation.
Obama is still under 50%. Not good news for Obammy, when it’s this close to the election.
Doesn’t Obama normally do better in the weekend polls
With all the downside and none of the upside. Greece without the vacation time and early retirements. Oh, and a huge, growing, violent underclass.
Yah! Where do I sign up?
Obama is under 50%. The bad news is that Romney is under 48%.
Well this could be weekend (Sat) stuff gumming up the works again. I don’t think you’ll see these numbers from Ras by mid week. Regardless not worth fretting over. Obama is NOT pulling away. His lies on Fast and furious and Libya are gonna haunt him and Romney is setting up for the kill. Patience is a virtue
Romney could be shouting from the top of the Empire State building and it wouldn’t make any difference. He has virtually the entire MSM against him, so that all you get is either nothing at all, because they don’t give any of his rallies, speeches, etc. any airtime, or you get constant bad mouthing of his campaign saying how he is about to lose big time. I don’t know how Romney can fight that. Until we somehow can change the media and/or get more conservative stations on the air, the same thing will happen over and over and over because the media are all Libs/Dems.
All we have is talk radio; we don’t even have a part of Fox anymore as they too are in the tank for Obama, and the few Pub pundits on there are northeast elitists pounding the sh*t out of Mitt everyday also. I don’t see how Romney can break through. You just can’t have everyone badmouthing you, including your own side, and win.
It will take the will of the people going to the polls to rectify this situation, and we had just better hope the demographics haven’t swung so far as to make any further Republican presidential wins possible in the foreseeable future no matter who the candidate is. It may be too late already. This election will let us know. Keep your fingers crossed. It’s up to us now.

Republicans have ranged from 32 to 37 percent. Right now, our sample looks like 36 percent Republican versus 39 percent Democrat.

“Havent seen that guy since Florida. Seriously! WTH is going on? Is he throwing the election? He’d have to really work at being this bad”....that’s what make me nauseous...we’ve got two rotten apples, one more visibly rotten than the other. By not treating 0bama like he treats Conservatives, mittens is showing us his rotten core.
There is a plethora of material that can be used against Obama, yet Romney is choosing not to use it. He consistently uses the same tired economic speeches, that obviously aren’t working. We have had twelve recent embassies attacked by terrorists, the murder of an ambassador, and we lost many at Ft. Hood in another terrorist attack. Obama has openly attacked the constitution, has relied on people like Van Jones as a czar, has promoted class warfare, and the list goes on. Romney can’t find anything else to talk about?
