A pregnant fourteen-year-old girl secretly delivered her baby with a pair of scissors in the family bathroom before throttling the boy to death and hiding the body in a shoe box.
Cassidy Goodison, 14, has been charged as an adult with first degree murder after police learned how she killed her child following months of fearfully disguising her pregnancy from her mother and father.
Her harrowing case has shocked even experienced officers and graphically illustrates the problems of the 750,000 teenage Americans who fall pregnant every year.
Goodison went into labor in her home in Greenbrier Village, Florida on September 19 and instead of calling for help, disguised her screams of pain by running the tap and gripping a towel between her teeth as she sat on the toilet....

She’s just being logical. If it’s OK to kill the baby before it exits the birth canal, it’s just as OK to kill it afterwards.
The Daily Mail is full of lurid stories. Here’s another one I stumbled upon:
How can we hold this child guilty when she could have had a legal abortion 24 hours earlier? Not that she is all innocence, sweetness and light, but the facts are she has been taught - explicitly - that morals have no meaning beyond the person and the moment and that life has meaning only when arbitrary standards say it does.
This is just another tragedy in 50 million - and counting.
Years ago I heard that some men who were clearing rural land had found a series of dead babies in old jars. It was determined that decades before a couple with a lot of daughters had lived on the property.
I hope they did DNA on the body to find the father. I’m thinking they will find him in the home. Only scenario that makes any since for the mother to be in such denial and mother’s husband not saying anything to mom about it.
Craigslist prohibits ads for constitutionally protected firearms but they allow DOG SEX SOLICITATION??
Perhaps the abortionists' guild is upset. She didn't hire one of them to help.
Could have been her father.
Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said: 'People who do this for enjoyment are a different breed, that's for certain.'
yeah it is probably her step dad that is the father, just a guess
Partial birth abortion isn’t legal in the UK?
I just don’t get it. With all of the outreach programs, and school programs, social programs, church programs, etc., the girl still felt like she had no alternative. I’m so baffled and disgusted.
Amazing that a 100-lb, 5’ 3” girl could conceal or even privately deliver a massive 9.5 lb, 22-in baby in her bathroom by herself strains credulity. The police need to grill the mother as well.
Well, this maybe a dark thought, but I’ll leave it to you to decide how true it is...
If we ever have a major national disaster... a category 5 hurricane, if that fault in Yellowstone lets go, or even a suitcase nuke is detonated in the United States...remember
5% went straight to Jesus
20% were good people who need your prayers
25% were negative a-holes, you can pray for them when you’re done praying for the 20 percent
50% are just brain automated meat wandering through life without a soul. They may have had one once, but they decided life was easier without one, and they aborted it.
If we ever have that kind of national crisis, you can decrease your grief and your tears by 75%, because you’re weeping for a person that was dead long ago.
Your mathematical analysis may vary.
Libs will use this for their good. They will say legalized abortions prevent this type of tragedy or if not for legalized abortions this trendy would be much more common.
Correction: this tragedy would be much more common
I can’t say what could be so wrong in a child’s head they would do all of that.
There is only one answer...that and fear.
a very disturbed girl
Most media will not publish pics of minors in crime stories. Hmm.
And if a “doctor” used those scissors to punch a hole in the baby’s skull, it would be perfectly “OK”...
First thing that popped into my head as well.
