I so despise the Left.
Carry on.
That doesn't stop you from trolling. You have added nothing to the discussion other than to crap on it.
Yes, I was pondering the implication that we can’t comment on the Sunday shows if we do not sit there and watch them.
Some choose to read War & Peace. Others use the Cliff Notes. Others watch the movie. Finally some take someone’s word for it. It is as like the old cannard a Catholic Priest cannot give valid marriage connseling as he is celebate. A teacher must be Black to teach Black kids. On and on.
That seems like too much looking for the splinter in another’s eye while ignoring the log in your own.(Matthew 7:3-5; Luke 6:42)
Good for you! Quality response.
I was watching Stefanopoulous this morning, and I’m so tired of dems (Howard Dean) getting away with saying the Bush tax cuts and policies caused the recession. The Republicans never seem to answer that. I suppose it’s unpopular to say that irresponsible home loans to people who couldn’t afford them caused the recession, but it burns me up when dems get away with basically saying that taxpayers getting to keep more of their own money caused the recession. That’s stupid and makes no sense. Republicans need to come up with a way of answering those charges.
“BTW, where is code Pink or Cindy sheehan now about all the military dying in Afghanistan?”
They are staging a trip to Pakistan to protest (blame the US first) “civilians” (Taliban logistical support personnel..aka tribal members) killed by drones.

“About the Trip: After the great success of the first-ever International Drone Summit hosted by CODEPINK last March, we have been invited by our friends in Pakistan to organize a Peace Delegation to Pakistan Oct 3 - 10. We will meet with survivors of US drone attacks, lawyers who are representing drone victims and political figures. As citizen diplomats from the United States, we will join with people from the region affected by U.S. drone attacks, and call for an end to the killing.”
Well, bless your heart!
Well, bless your heart!
Rather than telling us here, please post this to the Romney campaign, dispatch immediately!
Hey, no problem. I stole it from somebody here...
#126......Agree!
They should use your answer, it emphasizes the incoherence of that Democrat argument.
And yet the president and dem congress have used the release of one-third of employees’ social security obligation to the employee as a method of overcoming the recession.
No one ever mentions this, or the fact that if the payment goes back up to 6% it will represent a decrease in takehome pay next January.
Somehow when GWB wanted to allow workers to privatize that one-third of their SS obligation, only screams were heard over the airwaves.
Obama Reid and Pelosi do it and we have -— crickets.
I do wish the Republican party establishment would fight the Left/Media more and speak from a more conservative heart. This means not platitudes when convenient, but that they really mean it and believe it. I think they'd get more, not less votes.
Same with Fox News.
They do tell stories that the others won't, and they are night and day different from the Drivebys. But remember Fox News's motto is “We report, you decide”. That means they're in the MIDDLE, where all the rest PRETEND to be.
I want a network that is as biased as the Driveby’s, but biased in the conservative direction. And especially one that does so unabashedly, with vigor, doggedness, and a will to fight.
That is NOT Fox News, however. We have 4-5 major networks, a bunch of newspapers, and a bunch of magazines that are constantly disparaging, fighting and insulting US. Is it too much to want our own champion?
Shalom, that’s 50 THIS year.
There’s been over 250 murdered this way since operations started back in late October 2001.
You just did.
Worse, where is the media/press reporting this and making a huge issue of it? Why not cameras and on air interviews? Why not analysis about how they could be right and this administration wrong?
You are exactly right, and if Romney loses it will be because he and the Republicans haven’t grasped a basic maxim: If you allow a lie to go unanswered long enough the uninformed will begin to believe it. If i hear Obama say that “Romney will take us back to the policies that got us into rhis mess in the first place” one more time I’m going to lose it. He better damn well nail Obama during the debate and be prepared to knock it out if the park. Now we hear that polls show people believe Obama would be better able to manage the economy. The media is hopelessly and deliberately biased. Romney’s campaign doesn’t appear to adjusting its strategy to take rhat fact into consideration. Being MUCH more agressive entails risk, but this situation calls for just that.
I see people make his sentiments known on the thread from time to time. I don't think they're talking down to us; just venting about the real bias on these shows.
And they ARE biased, LOL!
Who knows what evil, one of the main reasons we're doing this thread is to find and point out their lies, and to act as an early warning radar for the driveby media's meme of the week, which is often introduced in these shows.
Heck, I'm not even calling Wallace/Gregory/Shieffer/Tapper-Steponallofus-Imsuchawhore/Fat Candy journalists or reporters anymore.
They're all WHITE HOUSE SPOKESMEN.
Certainly, we'd all love to see some fire and brimstone Republicans out there making the case, and we have some: Colonel West, Sarah Palin, Newt, Hermain Cain, Rush, etc, however...
The media absolutely suppresses such talk. In so many instances, they are nothing but a vast echo chamber of their own thoughts. Look at The View, for example (no thanks, LOL!). Bunch a biddies all bitching about the same stupid things with only one lame conservative they have on to put all of us in our places with... A living, breathing strawman if you will--so they think.
That's why I want at least one biased network of our own. Allow a couple of liberals on who are stunningly, unashamedly stupid to refute daily (wait, there's so many to choose from!)...
