I see nothing in this article that is contradicted by the other article. The other article states the Prewitts put in a swimming pool, new kitchen, etc.. Obviously, the house wasn’t quite as opulent as they would have liked. From their point of view, the Romneys weren’t living up to the standards they expected.

One can have wood and rocks without “richy” silverware and 1200 thread count linens. One can have “help” without them being live-ins. It depends upon your perspective when you read the article. I believe the Prewitts, who have money, expected the Romneys, who have more money, to maintain a more affluent lifestyle than they did and were probably a bit disappointed to find the accoutrements not up to their standards when they moved in.

This family has purchased homes from private individuals in the past. Never did they come to the home and show us around. They just handed us a key and we were on our own.

I think some of the posters here are taking things out of context and twisting it to slam Romney, much as the Democrats do.
