You were wondering how many posts it would be before the group think bubble got popped. We know Romney to be a pathological liar, so I’m not about to buy something like this without questioning it.
The propaganda is aimed at the citizens of the U.S. trying to fight back against the “out of touch” and compassionless image that Obama has promoted of him. That is why the Prewitts claimed the Romney house had no fancy silverware, but in a non-political article would speak highly of the fancy wood and stone work. It is an attempt to humanize Romney, bring him down to “our level” as they see it. It’s as mythical as every other part of this guy’s 2012 Biography.

He started as a consultant with McKinsey & Co. Back during my corporate career, those guys would wear good quality white button down pin-point cotton shirts.
It is possible to pay a lot, buying those shirts from prestige stores.
It is also possible to pay much less, buying essentially the same shirts after carefully shopping for price.
In other words, you didn’t have to pay Brooks Brothers prices, to have Brooks Brothers style, quality, etc.
After Romney lost his Senate bid to Fatso Kennedy we wound up at the same resort, in St. Thomas, at Christmas. They were actually in the room right next to ours. At the time we didn’t think too much about it and thought that he and Ann were nice, friendly people. Recently my son remarked that of all the places the Romneys could vacation they sure didn’t go for the most expensive. There were a lot pricier resorts on the island.
They spent their vacation there again the next year and we ran into Mitt at the airport.
I’ve seen their former home in Belmont, MA and it looks like a lovely, large family home but certainly no mansion by today’s standards

Or in your article where they even found a portrait of Jesus in the bedroom, along with a lack of richy rich silverware and other things?
I do not care how frugal, they had domestic help.
We know they had yard help because the Romney's 'inadvertently' hired illegal Mexicans to do the work.
Of course if he is that cheep, maybe there is a reason he is not spending cash on the campaign, well unless you are a conservative that is.
