Palin will have a very hard time winning another election, although she might have a shot at McCain's senate seat from AZ. It just doesn't help when you quit you only major elected position. She badly hurt herself by teasing conservatives about running last year, when I think she was using her TV show, her movie, and her bus tour as polling platform, and the numbers apparently were not favorable.

She hit a home run with death panels, but when I heard her, her analysis was philosophically sound, but she didn't seem to do the background work on statistics and specifics of the issues to put her on a par with someone like Dick Morris or Bernie Goldberg. In short, I think she squandered a good opportunity.
