"That was a non-military helicopter (CH53?)"

Just a point in fact: Being an ex-aviation Sailor on an amphibious flight deck, a CH53 (Sea Stallion) is indeed a military work horse to transport Marines and even some small vehicles/armor. Air Force C-5's are used for the bigger stuff. Early CH-46 (Sea Knight) and similar design CH-47 (Chinook) are for Marine infantry transport.

A CH-43 is definitely a military aircraft and used to be the largest helo in the world...may still be. It's rotor-wash almost sent me over the side of the flight deck once upon a time.

My apologies.. I think I can fix this now. The SEALs shot down in Afghanistan not long after the OBL raid in Pak were aboard a civilian version of the Chinhook, the CH-47 as you've stated. My understanding is there's a military version that is more heavily armored (MH-47?).. Anyway, the point being that 38 SEALs were lost flying into an ambush into a narrow mountain passage in a Chinhook that was not the military grade vehicle. I will always have suspicions about this flight, so soon after the OBL mission. Especially in light of the false flag/cover ups/lies coming from the O regime.

My apologies if I'm wrong on designations but the controversy of this downing was that they should've been on the military armored version, but only the civilian version was available, or so goes the cover story. Would they have loaded this many SEALs into one vehicle? Mades no sense to me at the time.

Thank you for your service, by the way.
