Used to be able to get Cambells Soup around here for under 50 cents a can. Yeah.... maybe in 1985. You can't even buy generic soups under a buck, unless they're on sale, for the past 3-5 years.

Now were are lucky to find it under a Buck a can. Even though prices are high we've been stocking up on soup the last few months because it is a certainty they will go a lot higher.
Where I live the Campbells vegetable soup, bean soup, etc are $1.75 regular price.
A year ago they were around $1.00 and less when on sale.
Now they are sometimes on sale for $1.25 or so.
Tomato and chicken noodle are still under $1.00 (barely) but no more two-for-$1.00 sales.
Aldi soups are pretty good but they only have a few varieties.
