Since the elections are run by the states, who can the President “suspend” the elections?

There’s not even a constitutional requirement for a “popular” vote.

The election is solely dependent on the Electoral College; it’s up to the states to decide how they select their delegates to that body.

If elections are “suspended” the state legislatures have every right to choose the electors.

So what party controls the most state legislatures??
