Libyan protesters ousted a jihadist militia from its headquarters and seized... the headquarters of Ansar al-Sharia -- which has been accused of, but denied, involvement in the murder of US Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans last week -- came after tens of thousands took to the streets on Friday to protest against the power of the militias.

An encouraging sign. Which leads to the question: how many real pro-liberty/western Muslims reside in the mid-east Islamic countries? If the Libyan authorities backed by pro-western groups inside Libya can deter or smash the Islamist militias, would obviously be a very good thing. We’ll see.
