The Senate has defeated a bill that would have conditioned foreign aid on a countrys cooperation in investigating attacks on U.S. diplomatic facilities.
The bill also would have denied aid to Pakistan unless that country releases Dr. Shakil Afridi. Pakistan arrested the doctor, who allegedly helped the United States track down Osama bin Laden by running a fake vaccination program for the CIA to collect DNA. The objective was to verify bin Ladens presence at the compound where the al-Qaida leader was later killed.
Afridi was convicted of high treason and sentenced to 33 years in prison. The United States has sought his release.

Democrat Controlled Senate.
Pakistan jails the doctor that helped our SEALs get Bin Laden but the Democrats in the Senate still want to give Pakistan billions of taxpayer's money to hate us.

Unfortunately, 80 Senators voted against it so the Rats are not the only ones to blame.

The RINOs will pay the political price in due time. The Rats are going to lose the Senate and they know it.

The RINOs will pay the political price in due time. The Rats are going to lose the Senate and they know it. They will merely move to the Dims' side where they are more comfortable. They remind me of those who think they were born with the wrong genitalia, but are not willing to have the offensive danglers cut off.

Oh gosh, don’t pass it, it’ll cause bad feelings against the United States, and undermine the ability of those “good” governments to stand up to extremists. /s

OK I found another bill, this one sponsored by Rand Paul:
S.3576
Could not find vote details on www.senate.gov but it is here:
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/votes/112-2012/s196
It was defeated as described.
It is not unusual for the house & senate to bury the voting details if it is a controversial bill.

I have a feeling that Rand Paul sponsoring the bill had an effect on some of the GOP vote. And there were quite a few Not Voting.

Obama is beyond contempt.

about how Osama is dead...
then, they refuse to help the brave doctor,
who made it possible?
