A 55 gallon barrel full of those old washers and bolts is worth anout $350 as scrap.

Because some of those people aren’t evil, they’re just ignorant (Govt school systen).
Next time they send you something in a postage paid envelope...Tie it to a Brick...and let them pay for that!!!!

Just send the postage paid envelope back EMPTY or with a note inside for them to quit harrassing you. Make them pay for the postage.

Exactly.
This is a true story. My wife and I were guardians of her aunt for about 10 years. Near the end of her life, she had a stroke. After 3 days in the hospital, the "Medicare Doctor" said she had to leave because Medicare would not pay anymore. She was unconscious!!!! We had to move her to a nursing home
I send it back so they have to pay more postage!

I put everything they send through the shredder except the envelope, which I will fill with other junk and mail it back to them
Shredding is even better, especially if it has your name on it
IMO, most of them aren't. They're just hold-over Dems from another era and truly do not realize that the Ass Party today is wholly communist. My grandmother (may she RIP) was raised by German/Irish Democrat precinct folks. You couldn't tell her anything contrary to what she "knew." She literally thought her social security money was in a little box somewhere, and that Reagan & the evil Repubs were stealing out of it. Nevermind that she was a federal employee prior to when they actually paid into SS.... Oh, I could go on and on.
I don’t even open it up,just put it in the trash..and i get a lot of it
