A bad situation. No one is sure of the perpetrator's motivation. Others have noted that a gun store is a bad place to attempt murder.

Davis called Chance "an A-1 employee", and says he has a job with Don's Guns for life as far as he is concerned.

Kinda’ like why you don’t see any mass killings at gun shows; instant lawn sprinkler!

But, a “No Gun Zone” on the other hand...

Cheers

There’s another gun shop in Indy, not too far from the Speedway race track, called 500 Guns. A not-too-bright robber showed up trying to rob the store with a knife. He died at the scene of a single gun shot wound.

It should be noted that in Indiana you don’t need a permit to buy unless you want to walk out the door with it. No permit, you gotta wait.

I recall an incident from some years ago........a reaaaallllly intelligent person set out to rob a gun shop.

He drove into the parking lot and parked between a marked county sheriff car and a marked city police car. He walked into the shop, to the sales counter where several uniformed law enforcement types were standing, talking with the owner.

This bright individual pulled a gun, fired a shot into the wall behind the owner and demanded all his money.

The coroner found bullets from 6 different guns in the corpse.

Only a Gun Control Nazi would even think of charging the employee for any crime

Only a fool and a moron would try to shoot an employee in a gun shop. You are just asking to die

The employee was shot, only then he returned fire. And the state is still considering whether to file charges against him? Recall the DA.
