Good article in the LA Times I found from Google News. On the negative side, the spin is that some GOP are mad Romney has spent so much time fundraising.
But, the reason I am citing it as interesting is that it basically says both campaigns have to do that now to raise enough money. And ultimately, Romney’s campaign has a lot more campaign events scheduled next week, so the actual campaign stuff should increase, which would help re-focus the campaign and get the message out better even with the media blocking it. It seems he knows he has to be getting out there very shortly to hit Obama hard.
Yes, it shows the impact of the media, but also the weakness of the Romney campaign message. I don’t get it. They have so much to work with, and running totally vanilla messaging. It sounds like they have a plan to be aggressive in October, but it seems like they are letting false narratives take hold in September.
I am not in panic mode, but I just don’t get what’s going on...I see mediocre interviews from Ryan and campaign surrogates. Romney’s been pretty good in interviews, but he’s not managing the news cycle at all.
In the long run I start to feel the country is lost whenever I begin talking with people under 30. They are almost completely ambivalent/agnostic on social or, dare I say, “moral” issues. They don’t really care about gay marriage because they seem to doubt the value of marriage in general. Capitalism? Just another economic system. One of many, no better and no worse than the others. U.S. Constitution? Okay for it’s time, but the Euros sure do seem to have some sweet benes.
Such people I’m afraid can be convinced to fall for almost anything (or to at least give it a try)

I hear ya.. I’m 34,and I’m no prude...But I do have a strong belief in the Lord, and when I see how people a little younger than me think- it just tells me things will only get worse.
I have felt that Obama is God’s judgment on America (and theres a lot of biblical verses to back it up) ..When you have a country where 50% of the “citizens” support abortion, gay marriage, theft of others money through high taxes...Not to mention atheism on the rise...God being mocked more and more frequently in our entertainment.
What kind of leader would God say this country deserves?

The only thing I can think of is both Ad Mod and adheckle posting over one another. There’s a 2 minute difference between them, but does it take time for the account to be deleted?
