Not until a couple of them were successful. The First Crusade was not. They beat the snot out of Peter The Great once. Nearly overran France, too. We’ll have to measure number of years of STFU per thousand casualties to properly gauge this.
The only way to crush them is to destroy the center of
their religious belief, that is Mecca. It could and should
be touted as a rebuke from Allah and a chance to reform
the ideology of Mohammed.
