Everything since has been the product of humans using their God-given intelligence and curiosity. GM crops are no different, except that we can accomplish in years or months what our forebears took centuries to achieve.

Not buying the balance of the cited study, either. Fits the "anti-GM" agenda too neatly.

We have a tremendous amount of ignorance about just about topic that deals with science and technology. People are just lazy. And/or emotional.
Same thing with politics I guess.

My college background/degree was in agriculture. It was all about studying factual information and making decisions based on that.
