Nor do I. According to this article, the statement the gay groups are releasing is identical to the one before taking about treating people with respect, which is what they always did anyway.

Now, the more interesting part of all of this is the gay groups backing off their original statements highlightted in this article naming Focus on the Family and other groups.

I think this alderman is the one who changed and is trying to spin it to make it sound like Chick-Fil-A is caving when nothing has changed at all. I don’t buy that they are not commenting because they don’t want to upset anyone, rather I think they just want to stay out of all of this. I expect they will release a statement saying that basically nothing has changed one bit and alderman Moreno will have some ‘splainin to do t his gay friends.
