Don’t worry, the Chinese aren’t going to let this get out of hand. If I were one of those protesters, I would be concerned about my liver or kidneys. If they get hauled off to prison they may “wake up” metaphorically speaking without either, or both, lol !
You miss the point. The concern is not that it will get out of hand. the concern is Beijing ordered it to happen in the first place.
