Do ya run around with yer little card showing everyone how Cherokee ya are? I met a guy that did. He’s 1/128th and he gets all the freebies. Looks like Howdy Doody...way too many red-headed Indians running around. Coulda smacked the prick. Why use the perjorative “squaw?”

Why not? I’ll tell you what my 3 point test is for deciding if someone really is Indian:
Do they have:
1. The high cheek bones
2. Black or very dark hair
3. A hellacious temper
And for the men I could add: Do they like their “firewater”. LOL
The aforementioned Howdy-Doodey guy was a freckled, red-headed Scot to all appearances, but because someone got lucky with a Cherokee woman 150 years ago, everybody else pays when he gets teeth knocked out in barfights. And he does.
