Guess you missed where I wrote:

“At a minimum, they should not get back more than they paid...”

“Are all low income employees who don’t make enough to pay fed taxes, receiving government assistance?”

Beats me. But they should NOT have the right to vote benefits for themselves that they don’t have to pay for. The purpose of government is NOT to allow poor people to rob rich people at will.

In a moral land, it wouldn’t matter. But as we increasingly reject God and individual responsibility, then we need to find a way to prevent poor people from voting themselves money.

I suspect the vast majority of poor working people have access to a LOT of government benefits. Food stamps, healthcare, etc. My wife is a nurse whose patients are mostly from the non-working poor, and their coverage under the state seems to exceed mine.

So are those low wage employees who don’t make enough to pay fed taxes, part of what he considered the freeloading 47%?
