People on Social Security are not takers — they had money taken from them, without their consent all their working lives. The government is the taker.

It is an entitlement when you steal from people making money. It’s a ponzi scheme, like all the other ones.

Thankfully there aren’t enough of us youngun’s so the system will collapse.

People are certainly forced to pay into it. But since it is so highly socialized, the upper tier will never get all their money back while the lower ones get all theirs back and much more. So, I'd call SS an entitlement for the low wage earners. An entitlement (my def) is anything someone has not earned or worked for to earn it all.
