That’s my point. Romney has to beat the hell out of Obama in that demographic. That demographic for the most part sees themselves not as takers but as makers. So where’s the downside? Certainly not with the takers in the 18-29 demographic who have record high unemployment rates. This won’t change any minds down there.
Even retired seniors, who he needs, collecting social security were for the most part lifetime taxpayers who see themselves as makers, not takers.
