I’m on the side the video/pictures are showing the locals trying to help Ambassador Stevens.

Not me. We do not yet know what the cause of death was for Ambassador Stevens. I believe he was dead before he was removed from the building shown in the video.

Regarding the belt: In the video, there is a glint of the buckle centered right where it should be. In one of the photos, you can definitely see where the belt is undone in the process of being removed from the the belt loops. Then, in the one photo where he is slung over one animal's shoulder, his pants cannot be seen.

No, this was a deliberate removal of his trousers for some reason....and I can only think of one.

You are so correct. The video clearly shows his belt fastened but later in picture belt is undone.

I wanted to believe in some goodness but it appears that isn’t the case in this matter.
