This thread is idiotic. The man chose to spend his life in N. Africa in service to his country. No one could have been more aware of the danger than he was. He was not forced to take these assignments. American women are not forced to go to the ME. American Christians are not forced to go to the ME. American Jews are not forced to go to the ME. American Americans are not forced to go to the ME.

All Americans in service to their country are targets of Muslim jihadis and they all volunteer to serve.
