Having lived in multiple foreign countries, rational, thinking people don’t try to go into a foreign country and expect them to respect what’s tolerated in America. This is a pertinent subject for discussion because it highlights either the arrogance, ignorance or willful provocation of our government. I’ve considered myself fairly feminist as far as women’s rights, but we shouldn’t have a woman ambassador in Egypt, either.So we shouldn't send women, gays, atheists, agnostics, Christians, Hindus etc as diplomats?
