What’s on the guy carrying Stevens, in the lower right hand corner, right shoulder? Something white fabric. Stevens underwear? From the first pic it looks like he’s wearing white undies.

Your right! And since they are the only clean piece of clothing in either of the photos, they must have been almost entirely covered by other clothing in the 1st photo.
