I’m taking a huge grain of salt on this story.
Why are you cautionary to believe this. If you remember when Kadafy was captured we had video of someone raping him with a stick just prior to hes killing. It seems that is what they do.
It is actually pretty common. They did the same to Gadaffi, and, I think, to Mubarak. And to masses of other prisoners during the spring.
I think it really depends on exactly WHO actually had physical 'possession' of the Ambassador (sorry for not remembering his name at the moment), after the original assault.
What I predict is... that we will never know the truth.
